About Markham Got Talent
One of the largest talent shows in York Region.
MGT helps showcase students' unique talents. Our goal is to prove that: youth talent is not mediocre and is something to be amazed at — not just to politely applaud for.
The first place winner of MGT 2026 will take home the $1,000 award, trophy and be featured on all our streaming platforms and socials. Beyond the stage-competition experience, the potential to be discovered when performing on MGT is huge.
MGT will be filmed and produced into a cinematic episode that reaches hundreds of thousands of people.

MGT is competitive, and while only the most top talent will be considered, you'll be competing against equally talented competitors across Markham and York Region. We encourage performers who have never had stage experience to apply as well.

Decisions Finalized
Selected applicants receive an official invitation to perform at the live event.
