Markham Got Talent Competition

Markham Got Talent (MGT) is an annual talent competition that showcases the incredible abilities of youth in our community. Whether you're a singer, dancer, musician, magician, comedian, or have any other talent to share, MGT provides the perfect platform to shine!

Who Can Apply

Youth aged 12-19 who live, work, or study in Markham
Solo performers or groups (maximum 10 members per group)
All talent categories welcome
Previous contestants may reapply with new performances

Competition Process

Online Video Audition

Submit your application form and audition video showcasing your talent

Cut + Registration

Selected applicants will be notified and required to complete registration

Live Talent Show Event

Perform live on stage at the grand finale event

What types of talents are accepted?

We welcome all family-friendly performances including singing, dancing, musical instruments, magic, comedy, spoken word, and more!

Is there an application fee?

There is no application fee to audition, but after making the cut there is a registration fee.

What are the prizes?

The grand prize includes $1,000 cash, professional mentorship opportunities, and performance opportunities at future Markham events. Runners-up receive trophies and recognition.
